A squeeze is a compressor.  We're not going to insult your intelligence by telling you what it is, but we will tell you some of the things a compressor can do that you might not know.  Compressors literally "compress"  the bandwidth to intensify the signal.  It's not spread out like normal, it's compacted like it's been squeezed.  It makes single coil guitars sound fatter, humbucker guitars sound even richer, and and the tones ring longer.  Kinda like building a peanut butter and hello sandwich; once you mash it down, the filling squeeze out the sides.  Compression is like that.
