Eastman outfitted the E1D with a solid Sitka spruce top for enhanced resonance and added strength throughout its lifetime. The dovetail neck joint further aids with vibrational transfer from the strings to the mahogany neck to the body. Plus, hand-scalloped X-bracing bolsters the resonance of this guitar, keeping the spruce top strong and balanced throughout its life. Apart from fitting the bill acoustically, the E1D is a joy to play thanks to its Traditional Even “C”-shaped mahogany neck and glassy ebony fingerboard.
